Green Ceramic blade coating for Aero Engine and compressors to operate at temperatures of up to 850°C (1,560°F).

PL134-R2 is for use on internal combustion liners, used, for example, on the RB211.LP:1 compressor blade for sulphidation protection. Also used on the Olympus 593 (Concorde Engine).

It prevents ‘Nickel Green Rot’, carbon penetration of Nickel based alloy.

In addition to resisting a wide range of aviation fluids, abrasion and wear, it also has a resistance to thermal shock, which is shown by the following tests: Resistant to thermal shock. The panel is removed from the oven at 1,030°C (1,885°F) and immediately immersed into cold water; film detachment will be less than 5%. Resistant to 100 hours at 850°C (1,560°F)
