IP80-55 – Paint, Finishing for General Service, Cellulose Nitrate, Air Drying, Spraying to Specification

This finish is part of a fully approved Ministry of Defence Standard and must be used strictly in accordance with the individual contract requirements. This specification relates to a general services, smi-gloss cellulose nitrate paint that is quick drying and suitable for use on ammunition which will be stored in boxes or in circumstances where a lower level of durability than that afforded by Def Stan 80-27 is acceptable.
