Aerosol Packed Binder for Powdered Brazing Alloys
Aerosol packed acrylic lacquer for brazing operations and as a general protective coating for use in furnace brazing operations to RPS 194. The binders have been used extensively with various braze powders for many years. As well as binding the powder they must have virtually zero residue and burn off cleanly during the braze cycle.
The PL binders PL248 and PL246 satisfy these requirements hence their approval and use by Rolls Royce.
For use as a binder when compounded with powder brazing alloys. Used for holding powder in place on Honeycomb aero engine parts. Seals metal, wood, plastic and paper surfaces with a flexible film. It seals against fresh and salt water air and chemicals. PL248 helps prevent tarnishing of copper, brass and ferrous metals. It is non-yellowing material
