Indestructible Paint Appoints Edward Johnson as Managing Director

We are delighted to welcome Edward Johnson to Indestructible Paint as our new Managing Director.

Ed brings over 20 years of experience leading and growing industrial businesses across the globe. Most recently he served as Strategy Director at Michelin’s Advanced Sealing Technologies business line, supplying engineered components to the aerospace, energy and industrial sectors. Having led teams across four continents, Ed combines deep sector knowledge with a proven track record of international growth.

Ed holds a First Class Degree from Oxford University and is fluent in Mandarin, a skill honed through his years working internationally. After years of working around the world, he is returning to his home city of Birmingham — a move he is very much looking forward to.

I’ve spent much of my career in industries you wouldn’t give a thought to: seals and bearings and widgets that you might not know exist, but play an outsized role in keeping the world turning. What I’ve loved about these is the critical nature of the products, which means that science and technology, materials knowledge and real customer understanding are essential for success — and this is exactly what excites me about Indestructible Paint too. I’m proud to be joining such a brilliant company, in my hometown, and I can’t wait to start to get to know everyone and work together on the opportunities that can make this great business shine!
